Laser Etching
"Laser Etching" is a method of etching granite to obtain beautiful, fine detail as in a photograph. There is an additional cost associated with laser etches, dependent upon size. The etching can range from an inch or more up to the entire monument. The image is obtained using a laser which penetrates the polish on the monument at various depths and distance. This type of etch is never very deep (not nearly as deep as sandblasted images). Following are examples of laser etchings.
